Rates
June 1 – August 31, 2020 | $120.00 Per Night | 3 Night minimum- Due 14 days prior to stay |
Non-refundable Cleaning Fee | $100.00 | Due at contract signing |
Refundable Damage Deposit* | $300.00 | Due at contract signing |
The cottage is winterized and is available for rent from September thru the end of May on a Monthly basis. Please inquire if you are interested.
Rules-Brief Version
- No pets-please don’t ask -no exceptions
- No smoking inside the unit
- Max occupancy is 4 people- any combination of adults + children
- You must observe the community rules posted at the common beach
- No parties, gatherings or visitors other than the named occupants
- Please read the COVID page before reserving
- A more extensive list of rules will be contained in the contract that you sign
About the community parks
All of these parks are open for your use so long as you abide by the rules.
On the lake side of the Highway
Maiden Lane Waterfront Park – located at the base of Maiden Lane and Lake Dr. This park offers beautiful views of the lake, sunsets, and the Ring of Fire. This park features shaded green spaces, sandy sunny spots above the water, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and a swing set for kids.
Maiden Lane Picnic area – located between Maiden Lane and Mayflower Rd along Lake Dr. A beautiful park area with a walking path, park benches and picnic tables.
Middle Beach Swim Area – located at the end of Blossom Rd, offers stairs access to Canandaigua Lake for residents to swim.
Cottage City Right of Way and Boat Launch – located at the end of Cottage City Rd at the former Rakes Marina location. This was also the site of the historic Steam Boat Dock – look for the commemorative sign! Features level lake access for drop off of small boats and watercraft. Please respect that this access point is very popular in the summer and do not leave vehicles parked in the Right of Way longer than necessary to drop off or pick up boats and equipment.
Blossom Rd Park – located between Blossom Rd and Fair Oaks Dr along Lake Dr. Currently in a wild state, this full block area provides welcome natural green spaces and areas for birds and other wildlife.
On the other side of the Highway
Catallo Park Pavilion & Playground – located between Mayflower Rd and Bluebird Rd on the east side of East Lake Rd. Features covered pavilion, basketball hoops, playground, and maintained green areas for sports available for parties, cookouts, family reunions, and summer fun!
Valesko Park – located on the east side of East Lake Rd at Blossom Rd. This park was named after local resident Joseph Valesko who lost his life in Vietnam. The park has baseball diamonds, and is available for sports, parties, cookouts, family reunions, and summer fun! It is also an important safe landing area for Mercy flight, when necessary to land helicopters.
