Canandaigua Lake Cottage~

My parents bought an old Canandaigua lake cottage when I was a kid. Consequently, my six brothers and I stayed there every summer of our young lives. We slept in sleeping bags in the yard when the weather was great. If it rained, we slept on the living room floor or in the makeshift bunk house. There was not much TV and certainly no computers or cell phones. It was just fun, sun, lake and sky. It seems that we were always in a bathing suit and most often in the lake.

My turn to own

When I had the chance to buy this little Canandaigua lake cottage, it reminded me so much of that simpler time. Therefore, I decided to keep it in it’s original state. You won’t find fancy stuff here. It’s clean and cozy. It’s simple. There’s a really large yard for game playing or picnics or throwing a blanket on the lawn and gazing at the stars. A block down the street is a community beach where you can watch the sunset, swim in the pristine water, sip your morning coffee on the Adirondack chairs or watch the kids play on the swing set.

About the community

If you want to learn a little more about our small community, Crystal Beach, you can visit our Community website. If you visit my cottage, I hope you are able to have a relaxing time and truly enjoy the pleasure of laid-back lake living.
